IYI Party Deputy Group Chairman Criticizes LGS Exam Results
IYI Party Deputy Group Chairman Turhan Çömez criticized the central education exam results within the scope of the High School Transition System (LGS). He said, “Reveal these 719 names, which schools they are from, which cities they are from, who are their families? Ministry of National Education, share the facts with us officially by sending them to the parliament, not by making false accusations through trolling armies or gossip. If you dare, do it”
According to the LGS exam results conducted by the Ministry of National Education, 719 students who answered all questions correctly scored 500 full points and became the top scorers. IYI Party Deputy Group Chairman Turhan Çömez held a press conference at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey regarding the issue. Çömez stated that he submitted a parliamentary question asking for an answer from Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, but he didn’t receive any response. Çömez questioned, “You want everyone to believe what you say, to applaud you. But what about the rights of one million children, shouldn’t we ask about those? What will you be accountable to the families who sacrifice everything for the future of their children? Do you think you can win the hearts of those families with the lies, accusations, and gossip you spread? Bursa Mahmut Celalettin Öktem Imam Hatip Middle School used to be the headquarters of FETO before and turned into an Imam Hatip High School after July 15th. We also know that this place is a popular spot for AKP politicians. But is it just limited to this? Definitely not. Antalya Kepez Mahmut Celalettin Öktem Imam Hatip High School also published the photos and names of the students. What do you have to say about that, do you have an answer? No. You only have one thing to say; attacking those who protect the rights and laws of the people with shameless trolling armies and a disgusting understanding. Do whatever you want, the truth is as clear as daylight, you are lying and you have not satisfied with deceiving and exploiting this nation. Disclose these 719 names, which schools they are from, which cities they are from, who are their families? Ministry of National Education, share the facts with us officially by sending them to the parliament, not by making false accusations through trolling armies or gossip.”
